Imutest™ - which kit do I buy? Imutest™ Allergy Check is a single test designed for asthma, eczema and hay fever sufferers. The test confirms the presence of high levels of allergy antibodies - indicating whether or not a true 'allergy' exists. A negative result indicates that further allergy testing is unlikely to be beneficial - saving you time and money. In the first instance this is the kit to buy. (See NOTE below)
A positive result obtained with Imutest™ Allergy Check will indicate which of the five common allergy triggers is most likely to be responsible for your symptoms. Sensitivity to specific allergens can then be confirmed with one of the five specific Imutest™tests which detect the presence of high levels of IgE 'true allergy' antibodies to house dust mites, pollen, pets (cat), egg or milk. NOTE: If you already know that your symptoms are probably caused by an allergy but are unsure as to the exact cause, then you may skip the Allergy Check and go directly to the specific allergen test you suspect triggers your symptoms.
